Greek Frappe

A greek staple! Nescafé frothed with turbinado cane sugar and water, optionally splashed with milk and served on ice

  • 16 oz. glass
  • 16 oz. cold cup

  • 1.5 tbsp Nescafé
  • Optionally, sugar (0.5 tbsp for light, 1 tbsp for regular and 1.5 tbsp for extra)
  • 4 oz. water to froth, topped with 4 oz. of water
  • 6 oz. ice
  • Optionally, half & half, or selected milk (2 oz. for light, 4 oz. for regular, 6 oz. for extra)

  1. Put nescafé in cup
  2. Optionally, add sugar to cup
  3. Pour water into cup
  4. Froth with hand frother until entire drink is foamed
  5. Add ice to raise foam so cup is about 0.75 full
  6. Top with water so foam and liquid settle at about 50/50 (optionally, leave room for milk)
  7. Optionally, add milk by pouring even amounts in 3 spots
  8. Serve to customer with a straw
